The Referral Lab is responsible for carrying out appropriate quailty checks to verify the accuracy of results and demographics.
The Referral Lab must define the means of reporting unsatisfactory and quantity insufficient samples to PPD.
The Referral Lab must define the lower limit of detection for appropriate parameters and the means of reporting results that are below the lower limit of detection.
The Referral Lab's reference ranges must e printed on institution letterhead, signed, dated and sent to PPD.
The Referral Lab must provide PPD a test file prior to sending production files. Once the test file has been accepted by PPD, production data may commence. File structure must be the same for all data transmissions for a study.
